Chandigarh based founders Anshul Bansal and Akansha Bansal, the brother-sister duo got this idea when Anshul Bansal was being blessed with his first baby. Their sole mission is to make parenting journey smooth and help new parents to bring up their child resourcefully.
While searching the internet for ‘Parenting’ they weren’t able to find an apt medium to make their parenting journey smooth. In addition to it, they found out that for Northern region there is no such dedicated resource/portal for guiding the parents about a kid’s daily problems. Like everyday issues of health, education, lifestyle knowledge etc. Also, the culture and weather conditions of North India are entirely different and mainly influenced by Punjabi culture.
Parents are not even aware where to send their kids to tuitions, summer camps and other kids’ activities centers like football, aerobic classes, dance classes, etc. They found out that there are some websites that do exist. But their presence is just in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, etc. For breaking these stereotypes and to take Chandigarh & Tier 2 Cities of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, the brother-sister duo pioneered Budding Star Innovations.
Budding Star is driven by a team of dedicated and professional individuals, coming from diversified backgrounds. The team has expertise in Technology, Doctors, Marketing and Relationship Management and is dedicated to provide the best information to the parents to bring up their child creatively and innovatively.
After working for 4 years in an MNC, Anshul Bansal, a B.Tech graduate and MBA in Marketing realized that job is monotonous and entrepreneur’s journey is full of challenges. Then and there he decided to quit his white collar job and work on his dream project along with his sister.
They run contests on creative themes engaging the young stars and making them learn more about our culture in a modern and artistic way. Contests range from clicking pictures on various occasions like Diwali, Holi, Independence Days, etc. Also creatively expressing oneself through paintings, craft or any other medium like dance, songs etc. Altogether converting learning into a pleasure for the child. Down the line, in a year the expectation is of 100,000 audiences per month on the website. Also in a span of 5 years go into merchandising and opening at least 20 kids stores by the name “BUDDY” in Northern India.
Initially, working with freelancers was a bit difficult for them. Freelancers are difficult to tackle, and many of them lacked professionalism. It took huge input from the team to make the product ready. Now that Budding Star is in growing stage they have hired a professional team. With the best team, they want to gift parents, set of services required for their kids to bring them up resourcefully and enable them to shape their future.
The innocence in the eyes of his little son while playing with him is what keeps him going. He is motivated to work hard by pondering over ways to make his future better.
